My New No-Schedule Schedule

Walking a dog

I’ve been writing this blog to help you make the right insurance choices for your health care. That includes keeping you informed of health care choices being made by insurance companies and the government.  I’ve enjoyed researching topics and writing blog posts that I hope helped you in your health care journey.

But for quite awhile the news has been rehashing the same topics or doesn’t translate into usable information for you.  There are many articles about the No Surprises Act, medical debt, COVID, and government’s inability to get any meaningful health care legislation passed.  But nothing new or definitive for health care consumers.

So I made a choice of my own.  As of this month, I’m releasing myself from a blogging schedule while also releasing you from reading posts that don’t always provide the content I promised you.  This doesn’t mean I will stop reading health care news or looking for important information to pass along.  When there are deadlines or important new rules or events, I’ll write a new post.  But I won’t be writing regularly just to keep up a schedule.  The new schedule is a no-schedule, or an information-when-it-happens schedule.  Hopefully that will still meet your needs, as I know it will mine.

This gives me more time to spend on my health care advocacy business and live up to one of my favorite life rules:  avoid insurance issues by maintaining good health.  So rather than sitting at my computer, I’ll be out walking with Brody, working out, working in the yard, or spending precious time with friends and loved ones.  I hope you do much of the same.
